How to Add PTV Sports New Frequency on Your Receiver
- Go to Installation or Antenna Setup.
- Select satellite Paksat MM1 or manually set position to 38.2° East.
- Add new Transponder:
- Frequency: 3870
- Polarization: H
- Symbol Rate: 13333
- Perform Blind Scan or Manual Scan.
- If the channel shows “Scrambled” or “Encrypted”, go to BISS Key / Softcam / Key Editor and add:
- SID: 0004
- Key: 98 FF 76 AA EE 54 DD 00
- Save and exit. Channel should open.
Tip: C-band LNB gives much stronger and more stable signal in Pakistan compared to Ku-band.
Why Did PTV Sports Change Frequency?
In October 2025, Pakistan Television Corporation shifted its main channels from the older Paksat-1R transponders to the newer and more powerful Paksat MM1. The move improved signal quality, coverage, and future HD capacity across Pakistan and neighbouring regions.
