How to Log In to Your Roku Account

A Roku account is free and required for activating devices, adding channels, managing subscriptions, and more. You primarily manage and log in via the web, as Roku devices (players or TVs) link to your account during setup and stay logged in (no direct login/logout option on the device itself).

Official Login Page

Go directly to: https://my.roku.com/signin

1. Enter your email address associated with the Roku account.
2. Enter your password.
3. Click Sign in.

If you have two-step verification enabled, you’ll need to enter a code sent to your email or authenticator app.

If You Forgot Your Password

1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? (or go to https://my.roku.com/password/reset).
2. Enter your email address and submit.
3. Check your email for a reset link (valid for 1 hour).
4. Create a new password and submit.
5. Return to the sign-in page to log in.

If you forgot the email address:

• On your Roku device: Go to Settings > System > About to see the linked email.
• If no access, contact Roku Support.

Logging In on Other Platforms

• Roku Mobile App (iOS/Android): Open the app, tap the profile icon, and sign in with your email/password. Useful for remote control and managing premium subscriptions on The Roku Channel.
• Individual Apps/Channels on Roku Device: Most streaming apps (e.g., Netflix, Disney+) require separate logins directly in the app—not through your main Roku account. Some use activation codes (visit a website and enter the code shown on your TV).

To Change the Linked Account on a Device

Roku devices don’t have a logout option. Perform a factory reset (Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset) and set it up again with your desired account.
