How to Add a BISS Key on an Openbox Receiver

Tune to the BISS-Encrypted Channel

Use satellite settings that match the channel (e.g., Paksat 1R at 38.0°E, correct frequency, polarization, and symbol rate).

Open the BISS Key Menu

On many Openbox models:

Highlight the BISS-encrypted channel.

Press OK or INFO on your remote.

Press the RED button (this often opens the key edit menu).

Enter the Key Data

In the BISS edit screen, enter the following items using your remote:

Service ID (SID)

BISS Key (the hexadecimal 16-digit key you legally obtained)

Make sure you input the digits correctly (0–9 and A–F).

Save the Key

After entering the key, navigate to Save or press OK to confirm.
